Time shift energy storage is a supplier of energy storage systems for industrial applications. These energy storage systems (ESS) provide flexibility for systems services, for example at Primary Control Reserve, the trade in energy on the Intraday market (imbalance market) or as support for renewable energy sources.
In addition, it is possible to use energy storage systems in electrically driven processes for lowering peak loads or for expanding the capacity of the network connection. The energy storage systems are available from 50 kWh to 5 MWh+.
The energy storage systems are equipped with safe and durable Lithium-Iron-Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries. The energy storage systems are configured based on customer specifications and are supplied as a turnkey solution.
For energy storage purposes with a capacity of 5 kWh to 1.5 MWh we supply energy storage Tailor-made modules. The battery modules are made up of 2nd-use batteries including our developed BMS. We offer these battery modules on the basis of an operational lease. In this way our customers are able to use storage capacity but without making a major investment or worrying about the costs due to system degradation.
By reusing EV batteries and making them suitable for stationary energy storage we extend the life of these batteries. In addition, we avoid that discarded EV batteries are destroyed for recycling. We do upcycling instead. We offer an environmentally friendly and circular solution for our customers. At present 2nd-use batteries are used in various energy storage projects.
